Peter Hain has led tributes to former County Borough Councillor Elwyn Jones who passed away yesterday (31 August). Elwyn, the husband of Councillor Doreen Jones, had been a Councillor in the old Neath Borough before representing Cilfrew and Aberdulais on Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. Elwyn also served as the Mayor of Neath Port Talbot. He was also the longest serving member of Blaenhonddan Community Council, serving the people of Cilfrew.
