A MASSIVE £2 million boost is on its way to a Neath Port Talbot charity which supports children and young people exposed to domestic violence.
The cash injection from Big Lottery Fund has been given to Calan Domestic Violence Services (DVS), to provide effective intervention measures for youngsters exposed to domestic violence and abuse.
Neath MP Peter Hain said the funding was fantastic news.
“It is only sad that such programmes are needed, but this will go a long way to helping those children, their families and the wider community who have been affected by such a terrible crime as domestic abuse,” he said.
“The expertise and experience available at Calan DVS will only boost this vital service that protects and supports the children affected.”
