Meirionnydd Day

Peter greatly enjoyed his visit to the Jubilee Room at the House of Commons on 31 October, where the Farmers’ Union of Wales, closely assisted by his colleague Elfyn Llwyd, MP for Meirionnydd Dwyfor, organised the first ‘Meirionnydd Day,’ aiming to promote the businesses of the region. There were many local businesses at the event and lots of produce to sample. Peter would like to congratulate Elfyn and the FUW for bringing the food, agriculture and local economy of Meirionnydd to Westminster and successfully showcasing what the area has to offer.
