Welsh Secretary is Being Mischievous

SIR – Like many others I was disturbed to learn (“Second Bill sent to the Attorney General to see if it exceeds powers”, Oct 11) that the Secretary of State for Wales has for the second time chosen to refer Welsh Assembly legislation to the Attorney General to determine whether the Assembly’s powers are being exceeded.
This is not what the 2006 Government of Wales Act which I introduced was designed for and not what people in Wales voted for in the referendum last
